Medicorp Orion Hub – May 9, 3311
We did it. Late into the night, between the final orbital security maneuvers and the last crew rotations, the Medicorp Orion Hub station officially came to life.
I could write that this was just another milestone in our expansion, but that would be a lie of omission: this is an emotional moment.
Dozens of pilots answered the call. Some remained in orbit for days, at the helm of their Fleet Carriers, coordinating the transport of materials, medical equipment, and specialized personnel. There was something fraternal, almost silent, in that improvised cohesion. I wish I had the time to thank each and every one of them personally.
The station is now open, but let us remain humble: the infrastructure is in place, the life support systems are stable, but services won’t be fully operational until the end of next week. We are working day and night to make that happen. And when it does, we’ll celebrate at the bar!
At the same time, as planned in our deployment strategy, two new projects are already underway:
- an autonomous farm near our star, to ensure an initial level of local agricultural capacity,
- an orbital relay station for traffic management and system-wide communications.
These two structures, as outlined in the initial plan, will form the foundation for what comes next: a planetary research center — essential to our scientific and research mission — and an orbital facility around the Coriolis dedicated to Medicorp’s specialized operations.
I can’t help but think back to our first steps in this project and the titanic challenges we faced. Today, the Medicorp station shines in the void, and with it, so does our determination!
Medicorp Orion Hub Station Report
The latest report I received reflects the incredible mobilization of the pilots who took part in this venture. I know there are many others, anonymous heroes, who helped fill those massive ships on the far side of the bubble. I want to thank them as well and hope I’m forgetting no one.
